Denise Hansen
Denise Hansen graduated from the University of California at San Francisco in 1984 with a Bachelors of Science in physical therapy. She is a highly skilled and well-traveled individual. Denise was certified in adult neuro-development traning (NDT) in 1995, specializing in the treatment of neurological impairments. Other specialties include: vestibular and balance rehabilitation, geriatrics, osteoporosis, and amputees. Denise enjoys traveling, camping and hiking, gardening, and tai chi.


Colleen Schaefer
Colleen is a 1997 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison Physical Therapy Programs. She also earned her CSCS certification in 2003. Colleen specializes in Sports Medicine.


Daphne Currier, MS, OTRIL
Daphne has practiced occupational therapy in Santa Fe for 13 years, the last 2 at New Mexico Sports Fintness and Physical Therapy, heading up the hand/upper extremity program. Originally from the Panama Canal zone, she received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Florida specializing in physical dysfunctions. Daphne has advanced training in splinting and rehabilitation of the hand and upper extremity (traumatic, orthopedic and neurologic injuries). She is fluent in Spanish and treats all ages.

She works closely with Gary Richards, COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) who graduated from Western New Mexico University. He has practiced in New Mexico for 8 years.


Kathryn L. Oliver, PTA
Kathy has an associate's degree in physical therapy and is a certified massage therapist. She has been practicing in orthopedic clinics for 17 years. Kathy has been practicing in Santa Fe at NMSFPT for 8 years, specializing in myofacial release techniques and rehab of sport injuries. Kathy also practices therapeutic touch and is a Reiki master, two forms of energy work.


Lee Ann Davis, PTA
LeeAnn has a Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and English, and worked in a state hospital facility with neurological and blind residents.

She then received an A.A.S in Physical Therapy and has worked in hospital acute care and outpatient orthopedic settings. She has been at NMSFPT for over 11 years. She specializes in biomechanics, Aquatic Therapy and rehabilitation, and work with orthotics.
